The name that can be named is not the eternal name.


Welcome to the birth of a new, as yet unnamed, series.

Here we see a sketch of Angela Merkel combined with a quote from the Tao Te Ching (“Wenn der Meister regiert, ist sich das Volk kaum bewusst, dass es ihn gibt,” which in English reads, in the Mitchell translation, “When the Master governs, the people are hardly aware that he exists.”).

To avoid doing a Shephard Fairey, I lifted the photo from Merkel’s personal website.
