Wet behind the ears

wet paintSo my latest wizard wheeze, having observed the longevity of wet-paint signs in public,  was to put up a sign saying “Caution: Wet Paint” on the side of one of those metal boxes you see on the Berlin streets and which must contain telephone switches or valves or tubes for the pneumatic post or something. I figured I would leave this a couple of days to get settled in, and then use it as a canvas for more Street Art (which would then be defacing a wet-paint sign rather than, say, public property).

Alas, my sign didn’t even last that long. (The careful observer may at this juncture be tempted to suggest that perhaps this had to do with the fact that the box in question had not been painted in decades.)
